FAQ

Direct debit

I received a notice or saw a withdrawal for a direct debit (automatic withdrawal) that I don’t recognize. How can I verify this and what steps should I take to resolve it?

If “Notification of Receipt of Direct Debit Request Form” or your transaction statement shows a company name you don’t recognize, it may indicate that the service provider uses a payment collection agency rather than billing you directly.
A payment collection agency is a company that submits account transfer (automatic withdrawal) requests to your bank on behalf of the service provider. Some credit card companies also offer these collection services.
For more details, please contact either the company where you applied for the account transfer or the payment collection agency.

How to Verify
Please check your account transfer application slip; the payment collection agency’s name may be listed there.
For email or SMS notifications, confirm that the same email address or phone number is not shared among family members.
