There is no maximum limit for the amount in a Time Deposit account. However, when converting Yen to a foreign currency to set up a Time Deposit in a foreign currency, there are maximum and minimum amounts per transaction when using PowerDirect(Internet banking).

●Maximum amount:
•Weekdays: Amount equivalent to JPY 10,000,000 per transaction
•Weekends & Holidays*: Amount equivalent to JPY 2,000,000 per transaction

●Minimum amount:
•Amount equivalent to JPY 1,000 or 10 basic currency units.

*Weekends & Holidays: Around 7 AM Saturday to around 7 AM Monday. Will not apply to Japanese national holidays, unless when the Foreign exchange market is closed.
