If you have one of the following documents that show your renewal of residence card, we will be able to extend your period of stay for two months with us before you receive the renewed Residence Card.
Your account will not be closed without the prescribed procedures.
Please provide either one from internet banking or by post if available.
1. An image of your current Residence Card with a stamp "在留期間更新許可申請中" on reverse side and in the right bottom corner.
*The phrase "在留期間更新許可申請中" means ‘in the process of renewing the period of stay’.
2. A copy of your current Residence Card with the following information if you are applying online.
a) The date of application (must be mentioned)
b) The application number (must be mentioned)
c) A description of the renewal of your Residence Card online
d) The name of the person applying online
e) The occupation of the person applying online
f) The phone number of the person applying online
*c)~f) are not mandatory.
Even though your period of stay is extended for two months, if you do not update your new Residence Card validity information, some restrictions will be placed on your account approximately three months after the ‘DATE OF EXPIRATION’ on your Residence Card.
