There are no charges for closing your account.
For customers wishing to close their account from overseas, please click here for details.

If you close your account by application form, please note the following:

■ Account balance of 530 yen or more: A transfer fee of 529 yen (including tax) will be charged to transfer the remaining balance to another financial institution upon account closure.

■ Account balance less than 530 yen: No transfer fee will be charged, and the balance can be transferred to another financial institution free of charge.

To avoid any fees when closing your account using paperwork, we recommend ensuring your balance is less than 530 yen by withdrawing funds from an ATM or transferring the balance to another financial institution via internet banking in advance.
