Maximum limit for a single foreign currency exchange is set when using Power Direct (Internet Banking) whereas no maximum limit when using CC service and at the branch.
Limits to FX Buy/ Sell per transaction are as follows:

Limits to foreign currency exchange for a single transaction to/ from JPY

Weekdays: Amount equivalent to JPY 10,000,000.
Weekends & Holidays: Amount equivalent to JPY 2,000,000
("Weekends & Holidays" is when Foreign exchange market is closed.)

Please note there are no limitations to the total amount of transactions per day.
If your conversion exceeds the maximum limit per transaction, you can repeat the process to your desired amount.

Equivalent yen amount of 1,000 JPY and 10 basic currency units

Limits to cross currency transaction (A foreign currency transaction that does not include conversion to/ from Japanese JPY.)
