There is no limit to the amount you can deposit for a Time Deposit account. However, there is a maximum and minimum amount for a single foreign exchange transaction through Internet Online Banking (Power Direct). The maximum limit for foreign currency time deposit from Yen savings account will be as follows:

< Maximum amount >
Weekdays: Amount equivalent to JPY 5,000,000
Weekends & Holidays*: Amount equivalent to JPY 2,000,000

< Minimum >
Amount equivalent to 1,000 JPY or 10 basic currency units.

*"Weekends & Holidays" refers to the days in which the Foreign exchange market is closed.
